Breeze was brought in today as she is lame and seemed a bit cold. The weather has been just horrible and suddenly turned freezing cold whilst raining.
She seems to have either a bruised foot or an abcess. Breeze has a poultice on her hoof to help draw anything out that may be in there. She is definitely much happier in the nice warm stable and I have to say has a lovely young man in the stable next door to keep her company.
She is currently off her carrots, but that should be back to normal soon. She now has a lovely new turnout rug for when she is ready to go back out.
When her hoof is all better and before she goes back outside I will try to get some nice video footage of her playing in the school.
Cruella is fine and continues to grow bigger each day.

Breeze is still very sore hoofed with extremely smelly pus coming out of her frog today. However, she is still happy in herself and having bute in her feeds to control the pain. We want her to be as comfortable as possible, particularly with her being in foal. Breeze had a lovely grooming today though and is definitely back on the carrots!

Breeze is now all better and back out with her friends sporting her lovely warm comfy rug.

I have decided not to put Breeze and Cruella back in foal for next year. Instead both will be brought into work.
