DJ Stud Sports Horses

9th October 2011

The horses are all doing very well. Chinook has been sticking his head in places it should not be again and ended up with a big lump by his jowls. When it was investigated a foreign body was found and Heather said she was very impressed with the flow of pus which came forth!! So much so the stable was pressure washed afterwards.

Nu himself has been fine and wasn't even off his feed!

The younger babies are just doing beautifully. their sales pages and individual pages have been updated with new video taken on 5th October and new photos taken on 5th and 8th. I hope you enjoy seeing how well they are coming on and agree they are all stunning little people. Their prices have been adjusted accordingly. Myself and other breeders can no longer give our youngsters away and believe people need to see the quality they are buying and the potential these youngsters have, thanks to the bloodlines chosen and the excellent care and handling they receive as babies.

19th August 2011

Apologies for not updating the site recently but things have been hectic. The very good news is that Cruella has held her pregnancy to Unbelievable Darco! I am truly over the moon re this baby as Cruella is mother to Chinook who is showing great promise and Unbelievable Darco (Fredstar to his friends), owned and very much loved by Brendon Stud, speaks for himself.

Sienna has not been put in foal this year, future plans are afoot for her, but still in the pipeline!

Breeze and Zarai have both escaped pregnancy after two attempts, so will be left until early Spring. Should all go well with Chinook, Breeze, Zarai and Sienna will be put to him in April/May

Baby Dannii is just beautiful, she is an extremely correct filly with a great deal of presence. She is being much admired and is a firm favourite - here are some updated photos taken on 17th August at 2 1/2 months - not brilliant photos I'm afraid, and standing on a hill, but they give you an idea as to how she is developing - more will be updated to her page shortly....

Junior and Cruise are also both doing very well. They are now 17 months old and Junior has suddenly shown signs of becoming quite a big chap! Cruise is starting to fill his very tall frame and I truly think as a 4 year old this boy is going to be stunning and definitely a dressage star - he is simply beautiful with amazing presence that the camera can't catch.

New photos below

all youngsters are for sale

I am so pleased to be able to show you new photos of our darling boy Chinook. He is now 26 months old and as you can see he has matured beautifullly even since SSGB in February. Little boy seems to have grown into a man. Chinook is by Chateau de Brion and I have to say I am very impressed with Chateau's offspring as many are at Quainton growing up and now coming under saddle....
